Every now and then a block comes along with room to dream a little bigger, and this one gave us exactly that. A generous parcel of land, a subdivision, and the opportunity to create a brand new home tucked privately at the rear of the property.
From the first consultation, the brief was clear; a home that was beautifully finished, quietly efficient, and built to a standard that would stand the test of time. We were thrilled to take a bare block and turn it into somewhere a family could truly settle in and love for years to come.
Peter Hendly Design set the project up perfectly, drawing a home that made the most of its position at the back of the block and let natural light lead the way throughout.
At the heart of it all is the kitchen, crowned by an enormous skylight that pours daylight into the living zone from morning to night. It is the kind of space that feels effortless to be in; bright, calm, and made for gathering.
