This stunning ground floor renovation in Glen Iris consisted of over 150m of engineered oak flooring, joinery throughout with stunning super-white marble bench tops, all electrical work and painting inside and out. The extension also involved realising a long held dream for the client; creating a Butler’s Pantry in what was otherwise a dead space. We were delighted we could make our client’s dream come true!
The plans for this stunning renovation were designed by Murley Designs with all the sections and internal finishes completed by High Level Homes. We believe in going the extra length and visited several preferred suppliers with our clients to ensure they got the outcome they desired.
Renovations can be disruptive while underway, especially when the renovation happens to be for a kitchen or bathroom. Building flexibility into the schedule is key. In this case, we managed the project in two stages to allow for a Christmas break as the permit was issued late, so we built the extension to lock-up. We then returned in the New Year to completely gut and transform the rest of the entire ground floor. Stage one took between 6-8 weeks and Stage Two was of a similar time frame.
